James is an accomplished sales and marketing leader with 30 years of experience driving results in both emerging and mature markets in the energy industry. Known for his sense of urgency and ability to deliver impactful results, James has demonstrated strong skills in creating vision, energising teams, and leading calls to action. His history of driving change and delivering financial impact at the global level as been recognised in the industry.

 James’ core competencies include strategy, sales and marketing leadership, digitalisation, sales excellence, learning & development, governance, and organisational structure. Before assuming the role of Chair, and prior to it becoming a charity, James was a non-executive director at Ways into Work. As Chair, James leads the group of experienced, passionate, and visionary trustees in the pursuit of the charity’s purpose, changing lives, one job at a time.
