New exciting partnership with Dynamic Training

Debra Burnett • November 10, 2021

Ways into Work and Dynamic Training have long been working together, in fact Dynamic Training are shareholders of Ways into Work. They were a really critical party supporting our spin out from the council to become a social enterprise back in 2015.  In the last few weeks we’ve taken our relationship to the next level, working on two new projects together to support young people into employment.

In the coming weeks Ways into Work will be supporting Dynamic with two webinars funded by the Education & Training Foundation aimed at educating employers and apprenticeship providers on supported apprenticeships.  Click on the date links to find out more and get booked on to the webinars on 17th November or 24th November.  Claire Gardner, Managing Director at Dynamic is absolutely passionate about promoting supported apprenticeships and said “We really hope these webinars will help to demystify supported apprenticeship and demonstrate the life changing impact they can have”.

Ways into Work are also about to start providing job coaching across West London for Dynamic’s Employ me London project.  We’ll be working collaboratively to support young people into supported apprenticeships and a range of other development opportunities.  Together we are Changing Lives One Job (or apprenticeship) at a Time!

It was great to get a chance to talk to Tan Dhesi MP – Member of Parliament for Slough, on his recent visit to The Curve. He was very interested in the work we do and the positive impact it has supporting people with barriers to employment, into paid work. Our Charity successfully works with those most affected not only helping to ‘Get Britain Working’ but also meeting our mission of ‘Changing Lives One Job at a Time’. We look forward to continuing the dialogue with him to further benefit residents of Slough.

Watch Ashonte shine at the Marks and Spencer’s Simply Food store situated in Royal Berks Hospital! 🌟 Our supported intern is confidently taking on new tasks every day, from restocking to serving customers on the tills. Ashonte's hard work and positive attitude are inspiring! ✨ A huge thank you to M&S, Royal Berks, who have supported many young people year after year. This year they are providing Ashonte with this amazing opportunity and once again helping us to break down the barriers for young people with a disability in gaining employment. A huge thank you to Marks and Spencer's for their commitment to empowering young people with barriers to employment by helping them develop the skills they need. Want to see Ashonte in action?
