Supported Internships rock!

Changing Lives, One Job at a Time

Route to Recruit interns start their journey to employment this week

Lots of luck today to our newly enrolled interns and brilliant Ways into Work team - 21 young people start this week on our Route to Recruit Supported Internship supported by the team in a variety of settings across Berkshire in Health, Horticulture, Care, Admin, Retail. Education and Performing Arts placements. We just wanted to say to those young people 'believe in yourself''.

The programme lasts 10 months and with the help of our Employment Coaches and some fantastic employers we plan to upskill these young people, remove the barriers to employment, create a diverse workforce and actually, also have a seriously good time!  Watch out for our updates on everyone's progress as this year's programme gets under way.

if you are an young person who learns by doing rather than in the classroom, have an EHCP and are aged 16 to 24 or an employer who wants to make a difference, create a recruitment pipeline of skilled up young people and at the same time provide learning and development opportunities for your line managers take a look at our Supported Internships page or get in touch.
